1. Traffic Control

• Monitor barricades before and during the parade
• Place city signs (Road Closed/Road Closed Ahead) on  parade route prior to parade by 7:00 a.m.
• Traffic monitor on designated street corners during parade
• Place “No Parking” signs along parade route 2 days prior to parade date
• Pick up “No Parking” signs along parade route day of parade

2. Walk parade with participants to ensure parade keeps moving, avoiding gaps

3. Line up participants in staging area

4. Carry banners in parade for participating groups

5. Secure entry numbers, signs and banners from participants at end of the parade

6. Pick up trash in staging area after parade
